Sorawit Songsataya. Listening Device, Hanoi 2025

Join Sorawit as they share the inspirations that inform the becoming of their ongoing sculptural series Listening device. Workshop participants are encouraged to introduce and share their own practices, and how these might be related to an expanded modes/forms of listening. We will be making the Listening device together while collectively discuss ideas and topics relevant to geo-sonicity, polylinguistic, and various overlapping acts between the senses. Participants are asked to bring along a few pieces of small, light-weight objects that can be strung or beaded together with a wire. We kindly ask that those who sign up for Workshop 1 also be available for Workshop 2 the following Saturday.

Free and open to all. Workshop capacity is limited to 12 people.
