Patrice is a Polynesian artist from the island of Uvea Mama’o (Wallis) in the district of Mu’a and the villages of Kolopopo and Halalo, and Futuna in the district of Sigave, and the villages of Vaisei and Fiua.

As a multidisciplinary artist specialising in printmaking, his woodcut prints are featured in the book ‘Printed’ Volume 3, by Rodger Butler, published by NGA National Gallery of Australia, with prints from the gallery’s substantial collection.

A self-taught musician, guitarist, lead singer and composer in his band ‘Kalaga’la’ (the calling - Language Futuna), fostering our Pacific languages, stories and cultural vibrations through sound and music.

From art to music, Patrice has spent many years working from grassroots projects and activities to service his community. He is a founding member of the SIAPO Association (Solidarity Art Pacific Oceania) active since 1999, and is still going strong, bridging artists and communities, celebrating languages and cultures in the Pacific and beyond.

An independent Project Director / Coordinator / Artist and Consultant for Melanesian, Polynesian contemporary arts and culture in New Caledonia, Patrice has worked extensively throughout the Pacific region and France.
